«Compas» is the first of five tools in the TIPO series
(Typographic Ideas & Practical Objects) created as part
of my degree project. The aim of this research is to give
a new vision of type creation, proposing a didactic
approach mixing manual and digital tools.
Le Compas est le premier des 5 outils de la série TIPO
(Typographic Ideas & Practical Objects) réalisée dans
le cadre de mon projet de diplôme de DNMADe. Cette
recherche a pour objectif de renouveler la création
typographique, en proposant une approche didactique
mixant les outils manuels et numériques.
Compas is made with laser-cut. It enables the creation
of rounded shapes, giving birth to a singular alphabet, Circino.
Le Compas est réalisé grâce à une découpeuse laser.
Il permet de créer des formes arrondies, donnant naissance à un alphabet singulier, le Circino.
